PolyITAN-HP-30 is a universal space platform in the Cubesat 2U format for research in real space flight conditions.
In January 2023, the PolyITAN-HP-30 nanosatellite, created to mark the 30th anniversary of Ukraine's independence, was launched into Earth orbit from Cape Canaveral using a Falcon-9 rocket from SpaceX (USA).
PolyITAN-HP-30 is the third cubesat created in Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute. The first one, PolyITAN-1, was launched in June 2014, and the second one, PolyITAN-2, in April 2017.
The PolyITAN-HP-30 satellite, which has a 2U CubeSat format, i.e. 20×10×10 cm, is designed to study the efficiency of innovative heat pipes with simulated heat load.
Such equipment can improve the thermal conditions of the internal components of spacecraft, stabilise the operation of equipment in space and obtain accurate data from Earth orbit for a long time.
Target audience of the project: NASA, ESA and manufacturers of space systems.
