Wear-resistant material for cutting, stamping, deforming tools and friction units.
A technology is offered for production of a material consisting of hard alloy - titanium carbide 30% and tool steel 70%. Tests of carbide steel have proven that this is a new class of durable tool materials with combined properties of steel and hard alloys. The unique structure and tribotechnical qualities of carbide steel provide self-lubricating properties and low coefficient of friction, and guarantee efficiency of work in heavily loaded friction units.
